Privacy in Pdf Tools

Pdf Tools was built to handle personal documents without exposing them. The PDF tools (compress, merge, split, sign, password-protect, convert and OCR) run on the device itself. Your files are not sent to SystemPort servers or to any third party.

The app has no login, no ads and no tracking tools. In the Data safety section on Google Play, it declares that it collects and shares no data.

The camera is used only when you choose to run OCR on a photo. File access is used only to open and save the documents you pick.

When you sign with a digital certificate, the certificate and its password are used only on the device, at the moment of signing.
